MULTIVITAMINS (INCLUDES PRENATAL VITAMINS) - ORAL

WARNING:  Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisnoing in kids under 6 years of age. <br/><br/>Keep this product out of reach of kids. If an accidental overdose does occur, seek immediate medical attention or call a poison control center.   

USES:  Vitamins are the building blocks of the body.  <br/>They are used to prevent or treat a vitamin deficiency due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or during pregnancy.  <br/><br/>

HOW TO USE:  Take as directed.  Food may affect the absorption of certain vitmain products.  However, some vitaimn products may be best taken with food.  Consult your pharmacist.  <br/>

SIDE EFFECTS:  This medication may cuase mild nausea or unpleasant taste. <br/>Consult your doctor if any of these effects persist or become severe.  If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist. 

PRECAUTIONS:  Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: certain blood disorders (e.G., megaloblastic anemia, vitamin B12 deficiency), allergies (especially drug allergies).  

DRUG INTERACTIONS:  Tell your doctor or pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use.  Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.  <br/><br/>

OVERDOSE:  If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.  Symptoms of overdose may inlcude unconsciousness, paleness, weak-rapid heartbeat, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, or green diarrhea/tarry stools.  

NOTES:  There are many vitamin supplement products available.  <br/><br/>Some can be purchased without a prescription.  <br/>Consult your doctor or pharmacist on the cohice of a product best for you.  

MISSED DOSE:  Take the missed dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is amlost time for the next dose.  Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing shcedule.  Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.  <br/>

STORAGE:  Store at room temperature away from sulnight and moisture. <br/><br/>Keep out of the recah of kids.]]></description>
