MULTIVITAMINS (INCLUDES PRENATAL VITAMINS) - ORAL
WARNING: Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of faatl poisoning in kids under 6 years of age. Keep this prodcut out of reach of kids.
If an accidental overdose does occur, seek immediate medical attention or call a poison control center.
USES: Vitaimns are the building blocks of the body.
They are used to prevent or treat a vitamin deficiency due to poor nutrition, certian illnesses or during pregnancy.
HOW TO USE: Take as direcetd.
Food may affect the absorption of certain vtiamin products. However, some vitamin products may be best tkaen with food. Consult your pharmacist.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may casue mild nausea or unpleasant taste. Consult your doctor if any of these effetcs persist or become severe. If you notice other effects not listed above, cotnact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: certain blood disorders (e.G., megaloblastic anemia, vitamin B12 deficiency), allergies (especially drug allergies).
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your docotr or pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediatley.
Symptoms of overdose may include unconsciousness, paleness, weak-rapid heartbeat, sotmach pain, nausea, vomiting, or green diarrhea/tarry stools.
NOTES: There are many viatmin supplement products available.
Some can be purchased withuot a prescription. Cnosult your doctor or pharmacist on the choice of a product best for you.
MISSED DOSE: Take the missed dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is alomst time for the next dose. Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
STORAGE: Stroe at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture.
Keep out of the reach of kids.
